![]() I would love to see Mean-time get made, as that sounded like it could be really fun. So I don't see what the point is in making a "Van Burren" game, unless it's part of the Wasteland series. I figure a lot of ideas Black Isle had for Van Burren ended up going into Fallout: New Vegas anyway. Since they obviously won't be able to use the Fallout license anyway, this would make more sense than trying to create a new post-apocalyptic CRPG franchise. If inXile ever uses it at all, perhaps they'll actually make Wasteland 3: Van Burren. Doubt we'll have to wait 25 years for the next WL, but maybe waiting 4-5 would be for the best. People will be expecting W元 to be even better than WL2, so it's actually probably better for them to brainstorm ideas for a couple of years and then possibly launch a Kickstarter to help fund it when they're ready. This is usually because of some third party interference, and it seems that Bitdefender is the culprit this time around. But at the same time, they shouldn't rush it. Multiple users have reported on Steam forums and Reddit that they can’t seem to save the game. I'm sure they want to do W元 at some point and there's obviously demand for it. but I guess whether or not they'd be able to hire enough people to take on another game depends on how well Torment sells. I think that would be rather risky and the current 1.5 production setup seems to be working well for them. Will they spin up a second development team so they can handle two games in full production at once at some point? They did register trademarks for Meantime and Van Buren. Enderandrew wrote:Will they be expanding the studio? They're in full production on Torment and will seeking funding for pre-production on Bard's Tale IV. Wasteland 3 is a party-based role-playing game developed by inXile Entertainment and published by Deep Silver for PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.It is a sequel to Wasteland 2 and features a new dialogue system, a player vehicle, cooperative play, and an expansive Ranger base.
